spreadsheets in the classroom, what!!

I had an enjoyable time searching the internet for different uses of spreadsheets in the classroom. I found a wonderful site for instruction and for different uses on the internet. It has different links for what to use spreadsheets for and what not to use them for. It also contains basic instructions for how to use spreadsheets. Fun, right.

I learned that timelines are an easy and quick thing to teach to kids in elementary school. I also learned that graphs are not too hard to do. mardi gras

I did pretty much nothing for mardi gras. I am not a huge fan of downtown mobile and the drunkeness that runs rampant through the city. I did enjoy myself however by sleeping in until about noon. The rest of the day i just relaxed and played with my dogs and chilled out. Good times.

costa rica blog

This blog is a collaboration from teachers living and teaching in costa rica. It contains infromtion about general facts in costa rica and why it is such a great place to live. It also contains information about what each teacher does and links to different sites. It covers everything from photo albums to bus schedules.

It is an interesting site for those individuals who would like to go to costa rica and a good persuader for those individuals who have not thought about going to costa rica. Anyway check it out son.click here for great times and good fun

another blog to check out

This is a blog of a teacher at a secondary school in Australia. It is a very interesting site. She is a very proactive person regarding the internet. She is a big proponet of blogs and is a context filter. I think that it is important to be proactive and passionate about what you do and i respect this teacher for that.

Anyway it contains a lot of good information about different things on the internet that are positive and community building. You should check out it is quite neat.
